Using this spacer will enable spur gears from touring cars to be installed onto F103 and F104 chassis. The ability to use touring car spur gears will make it possible to customize gear ratios in much greater detail. Depending on the gear it is used with, the spacer may also allow the number of differential balls to be increased, resulting in enhanced traction and stability.
